Cookie policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. It's used to remember preferences (language, active session) and, if you allow it, to measure how the site is used.

2. Types of cookies we use

Technical (always on): required for the site to work. They remember your language, keep the session alive and apply your cookie consent so we don't ask again. Without them the site doesn't load correctly. Analytics (only with your consent): Vercel Analytics aggregates visits, top pages, devices. It doesn't identify individuals and isn't crossed with marketing data. You can disable them without affecting functionality. Marketing (only with your consent): campaign attribution and remarketing. None active today; when we add them, this section will be updated and consent will be requested again.

3. How to manage your consent

On your first visit a banner appears with three symmetric options: Accept all, Reject all or Customize (you pick category by category). Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage) and we respect that configuration until you change it. To review it anytime, there's a link in the footer.

4. Third-party cookies

When you accept analytics, we load Vercel Analytics scripts. When you start a payment flow tied to the Playium product, Paddle (paddle.com), our Merchant of Record, sets its own anti-fraud security cookies (3D Secure, chargeback prevention) and checkout conversion cookies — accepting these isn't optional if you want to pay, they're strictly necessary for the processor. More info at paddle.com/legal/privacy.

5. How to delete cookies from your browser

Any modern browser allows deleting stored cookies. Instructions are in the browser's docs (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Deleting cookies forces the site to ask for consent again on your next visit.

6. Changes to this policy

If we add new categories (e.g. marketing) we'll update this text and ask for consent again. We don't use cookies that aren't described here.
